Hawver Display Wins Two First Place Awards

Hawver Display wins two first place gold awards in the 2010 Gallery of Superb Printing Competition the Point-of-Purchase and Die-cutting categories.

The Rochester Club of Printing House Craftsmen, Inc. is a volunteer non-profit organization composed of management, technical, production, education, sales and marketing people associated with and allied in the Printing/Graphic Arts Industry.

Hawver Display is proud to participate in this annual competition and honored to receive these prestigious awards.

The Four Challenges of the Kimber Firearm Displays

We love a challenge, and a recent design provided a great opportunity for our group at Hawver Display to develop an innovative design solution that met the client’s unique display case needs. Kimber America, a manufacturer of high quality 1911 pistols, approached Hawver Display with a request to develop a handgun display that solved some unique problems for them and the store owners selling their firearms. The acrylic Kimber firearm display needed to help potential customers easily identify the Kimber America product.

Hawver Designs Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Promo Kit

Hawver Display was approached by Nickelodeon to help develop a unique promotional kit for the upcoming release of Nick's new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T.V. series. This new Nickelodeon show of the Turtle saga was being anxiously awaited by fans on three continents, and the promotional kits were an important part of the integrated marketing campaign. Nickelodeon wanted us to make their promotional kit something unique.

Creative Packaging Project for Campbell Soup Company Results in $28,000 Sale

Building a relationship with a local marketing agency led Duane and Phil Mertz of Proforma Branding Solutions in Norwalk, CT to earning a $28,000 sale for a Campbell Soup Company project. Last year, Duane, Phil and PLP, Hawver Display had a collaborative prospecting meeting with Circle One Marketing to explain how they partner to deliver packaging and display solutions. Circle One kept. Proforma Branding Solutions in mind, and contacted them this January when Campbell's needed a creative packaging project done quickly.

In-Store Displays Are More Effective Than Price Cuts

    Tim drives Hawver; he is the force behind sales and marketing. In addition to overseeing all departments, he is also deeply involved with every project for his customers. Tim joined Hawver as operations manager. A natural problem-solver, he tackled industrial design challenges, improved processes and made Hawver an overall better place. After being promoted to GM, then VP, he bought Hawver to become part-owner with his wife, Joanne --and we’re happy he did.

    Even when he is not busy working, Tim is always staying active.

    Jeff is our CAD guy. (We think it’s ingrained into his DNA.) He has the innate ability to turn creative vision into 3-dimensional reality. It may begin as simple as a napkin sketch, but Jeff is able to transform the idea into a CAD drawing and prototype, working until the design reaches perfection.

    While Jeff loves the family atmosphere here at Hawver, he also enjoys spending time with his own family in Hilton.

    A true New York man, John follows his favorite sports teams, which include the Bills, the Sabres and the Yankees, in his spare time. He also follows his photography passion whenever possible.
